Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 green onion, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. In a small bowl, whisk together the teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, honey, grated ginger, and minced garlic.
- 2. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure the salmon is well coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight in the refrigerator.
- 3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the salmon from the marinade, reserving the marinade for later.
- 4. Place the salmon fillets in the skillet, skin-side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, or until the skin is crispy and browned.
- 5. Flip the salmon fillets and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- 6. While the salmon is cooking, pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan. Bring it to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- 7. Serve the cooked salmon with the teriyaki sauce drizzled on top. Garnish with sliced green onions.
- 8. Enjoy your delicious ginger teriyaki salmon!
