Ingredients
- 4 packs of ramen noodles
- 1 lb of pork belly, sliced
- 4 soft boiled eggs
- 1 cup of bean sprouts
- 1 cup of sliced shiitake mushrooms
- 1 cup of sliced green onions
- 1 tbsp of sesame oil
- 1 tbsp of soy sauce
- 1 tbsp of miso paste
- 1 tbsp of mirin
- 4 cups of chicken broth
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil.
- Add the miso paste, soy sauce, mirin, and sesame oil to the pot and stir until well combined.
- Reduce the heat to low and let the broth simmer for 10 minutes.
- While the broth is simmering, cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions.
- In a separate pan, cook the pork belly until crispy.
- Soft boil the eggs by placing them in boiling water for 6 minutes, then immediately placing them in ice water to stop the cooking process.
- Once the broth has simmered for 10 minutes, strain it through a fine mesh strainer to remove any solids.
- Divide the cooked ramen noodles between four bowls.
- Pour the hot broth over the noodles.
- Top each bowl with sliced pork belly, soft boiled egg, bean sprouts, shiitake mushrooms, and green onions.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
