Ingredients
- 1 pound shitake mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, cornstarch, vegetable broth, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, and honey. Set aside.
- Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced shitake mushrooms and cook for 5-7 minutes, until they release their moisture and start to brown.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the mushrooms and stir to coat. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and stir in the sliced green onions and chopped cilantro.
- Serve the shitake mushroom stir-fry over cooked rice.
