Ingredients
- 500g lamb, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 2 red chillies, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, toss the sliced lamb with cornstarch until well coated.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over high heat.
- Add the lamb to the pan and cook until crispy and browned, about 5-6 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add minced garlic, sliced bell peppers, and chillies. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly softened.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and chicken broth.
- Pour the sauce into the pan with the vegetables and bring to a simmer.
- Add the cornstarch-water mixture to the pan and stir until the sauce thickens.
- Return the crispy lamb to the pan and toss to coat it with the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
- Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
