About this recipe

These Coca-Cola Glazed BBQ Ribs are a delightful fusion of sweet and savory flavors, with tender ribs coated in a sticky, caramelized glaze. Whether it's a summer barbecue or a cozy indoor meal, they'll be a hit with family and friends.

Ingredients

  • 2 racks of baby back ribs
  • 1 can (12 oz) of Coca-Cola
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 275°F (135°C).

  2. 2

Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and season with salt and pepper.

  3. 3

Wrap each rack tightly in aluminum foil and place on a baking sheet.

  4. 4

Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until the ribs are tender.

  5. 5

Make the glaze: In a saucepan, combine Coca-Cola, ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.

  6. 6

Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 20-25 minutes until thickened.

  7. 7

Remove ribs from the oven, increase oven temperature to 425°F (218°C).

  8. 8

Brush the glaze generously on the ribs and bake for another 10-15 minutes until caramelized. Rest before serving.

Chef's tip

Make sure to adjust the sweetness of the glaze as per preference. A touch of spice can be added with some hot sauce or chili flakes.
