  • 2 sheets butter puff pastry
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla bean paste
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Directions
