- 2 cups whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 6 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla bean paste
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- Powdered sugar for dusting
