Ingredients

  • 500 grams boneless chicken thighs, cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup chickpea flour (besan)
  • 2 tablespoons rice flour
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon Kashmiri red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  • Oil for deep frying

Directions

    Marinate chicken pieces with ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, and salt. Allow to sit for 10 minutes.

    In a mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, rice flour, cumin powder, and chopped green chili.

    Add marinated chicken to the bowl and mix well, adding water if needed to form a thick coating mixture.

    Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.

    Drop coated chicken pieces in batches into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy.
