Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, pork, and lamb over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the diced onion, minced garlic, sliced mushrooms, frozen peas, and diced carrots to the skillet. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, until the vegetables are slightly softened.
  • Stir in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, dried rosemary, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes, until the flavors are well combined.
  • Transfer the meat mixture to a 9-inch pie dish. Top with one sheet of puff pastry, trimming any excess. Place the second sheet of puff pastry on top, sealing the edges with a fork.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.
  • Allow the pie to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
