- 4 chicken schnitzels
- 4 baguettes
- 8 slices of bacon
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
- Mayonnaise, for spreading
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cook the chicken schnitzels according to package instructions until golden and crispy.
- While the schnitzels are cooking, cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
- Slice the baguettes in half lengthwise, leaving one side attached.
- Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each baguette.
- Place a lettuce leaf on top of the mayo, followed by a chicken schnitzel.
- Top the schnitzel with 2 slices of bacon and a few tomato slices.
- Close the baguette and press down gently to secure the filling.
- Repeat with the remaining baguettes and ingredients.
- Place the filled baguettes on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes, or until the bread is crispy and the filling is heated through.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
