  • 2 cups basmati rice
  • 1 lb chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 cup chopped mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
  • 4 cups water
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • 1. Wash the basmati rice and soak it in water for 30 minutes.
