Ingredients
- 2 beef steaks
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- 1. Season the beef steaks with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- 2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- 3. Add the steaks to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust cooking time according to your preference.
- 4. Remove the steaks from the skillet and set aside.
- 5. In the same skillet, add diced onion, minced garlic, and sliced bell peppers.
- 6. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5-6 minutes.
- 7. In a small bowl, whisk together beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, cornstarch, and water.
- 8. Pour the sauce mixture into the skillet with the vegetables.
- 9. Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
- 10. Return the steaks to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the steaks to absorb the flavors of the sauce.
- 11. Remove from heat and let the steaks rest for a few minutes before serving.
- 12. Serve the beef steaks with the pepper sauce on top.
- 13. Enjoy!
