Ingredients

  • 2 beef steaks
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  • 1. Season the beef steaks with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  • 2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • 3. Add the steaks to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust cooking time according to your preference.
  • 4. Remove the steaks from the skillet and set aside.
  • 5. In the same skillet, add diced onion, minced garlic, and sliced bell peppers.
  • 6. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5-6 minutes.
  • 7. In a small bowl, whisk together beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, cornstarch, and water.
  • 8. Pour the sauce mixture into the skillet with the vegetables.
  • 9. Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
  • 10. Return the steaks to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the steaks to absorb the flavors of the sauce.
  • 11. Remove from heat and let the steaks rest for a few minutes before serving.
  • 12. Serve the beef steaks with the pepper sauce on top.
  • 13. Enjoy!
