Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 package of samosa wrappers
  • Water for sealing
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  • In a large pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
  • Add the ground beef to the pan and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
  • Add the cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well to combine.
  • Cook the beef mixture for another 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  • Remove the pan from heat and let the mixture cool.
  • Take a samosa wrapper and place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center.
  • Fold the wrapper diagonally to form a triangle, enclosing the filling.
  • Seal the edges of the wrapper with water, pressing firmly to ensure they are secure.
  • Repeat with the remaining wrappers and beef mixture.
  • In a deep pan, heat oil for frying over medium-high heat.
  • Carefully place the samosas in the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove the samosas from the oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
  • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or chutney.
