Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon tamarind paste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Directions

    In a bowl, mix soy sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, turmeric, cumin, coriander, chili flakes, and tamarind paste.
