- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into strips
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon rosemary
- 1/4 teaspoon basil
- 1/4 teaspoon parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, vinegar, minced garlic, black pepper, brown sugar, paprika, cumin, chili powder, turmeric, ginger, onion powder, oregano, thyme, rosemary, basil, parsley, and salt. Mix well to make the adobo marinade.
- Add the chicken strips to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated chicken strips onto soaked wooden skewers.
- Grill the chicken skewers for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through and slightly charred.
